Recommend an interesting Wikipedia page for me....
Edited on Thu Jan-11-07 07:15 PM by LynzM
I'm in a weird and bored kind of mood. I've been hitting the "random" button at wiki for a while, but I'd rather get pages I know are interesting. Got a suggestion for me? I'm pretty much up for anything. :)

Edited for stupid typos.

33. Watch this:
Edited on Thu Jan-11-07 09:19 PM by Redstone
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjA5faZF1A8

Some Korean kid in his bedroom, doing utterly astonishing things with his guitar. Trust me, even though the kid has LOUSY technique in the classical sense (see how far off the fingerboard his pinky is when he isn't using it; a classical guatar teacher would slap you for doing that), he does some incredibly difficult "sweeping" arpeggios and in general slick stuff.

But stop watching when you see the green traffic light, because he overreaches after that and tries switching keys, which you just DON'T do, not because a music teacher says you shouldn't, but because it sounds awful.

Have I gone on long enough? Can you tell I'm tired?

Both extensive, and both fascinating (although to be honest I didn't understand a lot of the biology on the malaria page, at least not past the Greek and Latin prefixes, suffixes, and roots).
