One glass of wine...
and I'm ready to fall asleep. I don't get it. I can drink several beers and not feel this way.

3. Nah, this is just a white wine...
but I think I figured out why... it's a chardonnay -- too sweet. Reds don't do this. I should have thought about that.

It gives me a totally different buzz than beer does.

8. I've always been a beer person...
nice dark porters and ales. I used white wine in a chicken dish and so am drinking the rest of the bottle. Give me a Black Butte Porter anyday!

that does it for some reason.

beer vs. wine, alcohol wise there shouldn't be any difference in alcohol (other than quantity)

maybe all the antioxidants did it?

I always got a headache from drinking wine. But then, I never drank just one glass!

10. Beer is much more of an "up" drink...
....wine is for coming down.

I have troubles with insomnia, so pretty much as a matter of routine, I drink at least one glass of red wine before bedtime. Mellows me out pretty good.
