Stayed home from work with sick RetroGirl today
She has a slight fever and a stuffy nose-type cold. She's going to be laying on the couch watching cartoons and napping all day.

I on the other hand am playing full-time bookseller today and will take the opportunity to list more books online.

Not to mention do a little DU posting and lounge flirting.

Ah, the joy of the Friday day-off...

1. Both of my kids are at school - I have some things to do around the house.
I have to take a class tonight and then join my husband downtown at a work function.

32. Me, neither. The cost of admission (or perhaps the cost to leave) Target
is about $100 a trip for the kmla household, on average.

Frightening how those few incidentals total about $100 every time we go....

28. I have to get used to my new desk
It's the opposite of my old one; file drawer is on the right not the left and there is no center drawer and it's apparently thrown me into a complete upheaval; thus far today I recycled the current invoices instead of mailing them and tried to store a stack of office supplies in the refrigerator. And the day is only half over.

This afternoon, call the HP folks to see if they can talk me through a fix for my non-functional printer........

Heading out-of-town for the weekend, all by myself! I have way too much planned, I'm going to see a ton of friends, AND there's a twin cities DU meetup, so I FINALLY get to meet some DUers, as well!

I'm so ridiculously excited it's pathetic. It's painfully obvious that I don't get out (of town, anyway) often enough.

38. I've got most of the running around done but I still have to go to the
grocery store. Just popped back home to have a sandwich and check out DU. I never grocery shop on an empty stomach.

I'll probably hit the video store this afternoon as well. Since we spent Christmas in Ireland I haven't watched any movies in a while. I rented the DaVinci Code the night before we left. I thought it was pretty good myself. Anyone have any suggestions???

If I don't rent a movie or two, I'll probably take a nap. I'm still kind of jet lagged even though we got back Monday night.

Hope RetroGirl feels better.
