1. Wish I could say things were better down here in LA
Cold as fuckin' hell here, too. Not as cold as Sacto, but WAY colder than it oughta be in LA.

3. It's a cold snap. They happen. Florida had 'em in 2003, 2004, and 2005.
Each year, the lows dropped into the thirties for several days straight. It sucked.

This year, the weather's normal again.

4. I've lived here all my life
My parents were both born within two hours of here. I know what's normal.

We had a cold snap in '88 people still talk about. It got down to 28 one night. Nobody remembered it getting that cold here. The TV news had to tell people how to wrap their pipes, because most native Californians don't know how.

The forecast for tonight is 22. There's no overnight temp above freezing predicted. It's just not normal here.
