Enjoy My Aloha Sun! (dial-up warning PIC HEAVY)
I am home on "Winter Break" from college. Lucky I live Hawaii periodically!

Waikiki Beach, Land of the Tourist.

The otherside, Diamond Head.

The path down to Diamond Head Beach, more surfing than swimming because of the rocky bottom.

That is Black's Point and the Kahala area.

The setting sun.

"Sunset at the Beach," the film for that evening was the Da Vinci Code.

The Good Booknerd.

Hope you enjoyed, especially if you're in 3 feet of snow.

Aloha!

2. It's a great place, warts and all.
The Big Island is incredible if you want to get away from the tourism.

Mahalo.

3. I'd Love to go back to Maui and visit the big island
Maui was a cool place.

Oahu was fun, went there once for a week, but Maui beat that to pieces as far as the beauty

Oahu was when I was a little younger and a friend and I went, a great place to party and have fun with lots of degenerates like I was at the time! LOL

Not that I'm not a degenerate now!

Hopefully I'm much more mellow these days. I'd take a quiet time and a beach and some friends over a loud party with people going crazy any day!

have fun

6. I'm legal next summer.
It's going to be wild...rest assured. I'm more of a :smoke: than a , neither of which is especially a good thing! At least W has set the precedent if I ever want to run for public office in the future.

9. Always. Can't risk my loans.
Bad news: HPD/DEA has had tremendous success in reducing the volume in distribution. I couldn't even find any this time around :(

10. I love Kauai the best.
Though I've never been to the Big Island.

Kauai is lush and has such a relaxed, beautiful vibe.

I would like to see the volcanos on the Big Island, though.

13. Outer Island fares have gone way down.
It used to be $80-100 dollars to get off Oahu. Now it's $30-50. Thank you Go Airlines. Do your Island hopping before the fares go back up. bounce:

I haven't been to Kauai or Maui, someday. I think Molokai would be really cool since I read in the paper its the least developed and most layed back.:

5. No.
But I think my father and step-mother would have a heart attack if they saw your post as they've got 4 of us already! Plus 3 cousins and 3 nephews and nieces. Oh ohana and keiki, how dear you are.

Aloha. :hi:

14. Oh, that filled me with intense longing.
We go to Maui every year. The whales, the water, the weather, the beautiful people.

We're skipping it this year to go on a cruise instead and I am already missing it.

You are very lucky!

Thanks for those pictures!
