Why do people refer to Donald Trump as "The Donald"? I mean, I'm sure that he wants people to do

this.....but why do they? It's like referring to Michael Jackson as the "King of Pop" or Howard Stern as "The King of All Media"...why to people feel the need to feed these egos?

Just curious.

It was her nickname for him & I guess it caught on. I would bet it is said sarcastically by most who use it.

2. I would hope so...it's bad enough when "real" journalist devote time to him, but when

they also call him "The Donald" it drives me crazy.
