Well, looking at the slim woman and the bear guy, I'd rather take the guy. That woman seems more obnoxious and she is downright ugly too.

3. The media, much like those who own the media, have no morals

Sitcoms and cartoons are one thing, but this "reality" show is simply deplorable and seems to use every ugly stereotype imaginable.

9. Seems to me the media are just following along, not leading the parade

Studies show that tall, attractive people get paid better than shorter, less attractive people. The media's not responsible for that. I'd be tempted to say it's human nature. We all know it's unfair, but life is unfair. We can certainly be aware of our prejudices and try to counteract them. The media are just exploiting a pre-existing human foible - which is not a noble course of action, but not as vile as you make them out to be.
