They got lucky today....they got lucky last week when the refs screwed the Vikings out of the playoffs...there's no miracles in that team. Just dumb luck. :P

I've heard nothing but sunshine blown up Favre's backside about how the Packers are the best team in the league. Like I said, dumb luck is how the Packers won and why they're in the spot they're in now. :)

I guess you did not watch the pregame where Michael Irvin was all over Favre as a washed up QB. No, I can honestly say, with the exception of the last two weeks as above noted, that most of what I have heard is that he is or will soon be...done.

Carolina and Philly in the NFC Championship, with the Panthers coming out ahead.

Admit it - both Green Bay and Seattle barely made it to the playoffs - they had to wait until the final week and get the right outcomes from several games. Plus, they are on the road against a tough Philly crowd.

Meanwhile, I am enjoying watching Denver implode, which I also predicted. :evilgrin:

And the Pack have beaten the Panthers before...and it will happen again.

Keep in mind, the Eagles always choke in the NFC championship. This year it will be against the Panthers.

Also, they barely won against the SEASQUAWKS. Take it from someone who has watched them closely for 15 years - Green Bay nearly embarrassed themselves by allowing the Squawks to take them into OT. If Seattle could come that close IN Wisconsin, just imagine the humiliation a tip to Philly will bring, or even Charlotte, if they get lucky.

I already predicted Denver's early demise, and now it is Green Bay's turn. It was NOT a shock they beat the Squawks, but it WAS a surprise they let it slip into OT. I'd worry, if i were you. :evilgrin:

I will admit it was fun watching the Seachickens implode... last year my bones won me $100 when I bet that they would finish below .500. They finished 7-9. I just never liked Holmgren. ;-)

I knew they would do better this year (undefeated at home, btw), but still not championship material.

I'd like to think Carolina could shut the Rams down, but I don't see it happening. If the Rams get knocked out, I'm going to be happy no matter who takes it, as long as we see some great games.
