I had "Bounce Your Boobies" as an earworm this afternoon. I almost called Rev Cheesehead to holler "STOP IT!!!" x(

Which reminds me of a Stephen Wright joke, but we won't go there.

Actually
furchtbar is spelled correctly.

fürchterlich is spelled with the umlaut.

Btw, we will get that storm today. It is windy already but the main body will hit this afternoon and evening :scared:

45. I remember the title now
It was translated as "Surely, He Hath Borne Our Griefs." And I had a girlfriend not long after whose mom was German. She told me "krankheit" means "illness" or "sickness," I think.

But they never did give us the translation, no.

We had another song in that concert that was in Latin. I don't even remember that one. Latin's no damned fun. x(

See?

Fürwahr, er trug unsere Krankheit,
und lud auf sich unsere Schmerzen

Forsooth, he carried our illness
and loaded up our pain.

Something like that. I am not too good with translation

47. I liked doing that one
It was fun trying to get the accents right — which is even harder with song. And the bass part was a real challenge. Bits of it went well into a baritone range, and we had to hold the last note (a rather low bass note) forever, and pianissimo, which really tested one's breath control.
