9. Blasphemy! The best radio station in the world is New Orleans' WWOZ

available planetwide here: http://www.wwoz.org

One caveat: They play more than just jazz. There's blues, '50s N.O. R&B, Cajun, zydeco, even Irish and Latino shows on weekends. Basically it's a community radio station where all the people doing airshifts are New Orleanians, hence the general awesomeness.

www.wemu.org Jazz weekdays 9-noon, 1-4, 7p-2a (live), 2-5a syndicated. Weekends have jazz, roots, and a ten hour blues block on Sundays from 3p to 1a. We stream live 24 hours a day.
