18. It's based on their astrological signs
All four of them are "fire signs" (Aries, Capricorn, etc.)

Of course it's also a pun on FDR's fireside chats.

4. Martian Space Party
Why send probes when it would be more fun to load all the Neocons on a rocket and send them there?

9. I think we're all bozos on this bus
When a citizen is permitted to ask the "President" (presumably an android) one question, the clearly random response is some non-sequiter about how well things are going and we need people just like you.

There is another scene (I think it's the same album) when a machine makes a loud buzz and the commentator says, "See, it responds to Power, just like we do!"

Don't take off your shoes!!!

11. None Of Them, Actually

Group all of this administration's intellect together, and you might have one-tenth of the smarts required to do a Firesign album.

I'm an eternal "Don't Crush That Dwarf" fan, by the way......

13. when i think of Firesign Theatre...

i think of stoned laughter and a much more innocent time.

nothing about bushco makes me think of FT. nothing.

they are a waking nightmare.

an impossibly sadistic episode of The Twilight Zone.

a horror that you wish (sometimes) you could not recognize...

16. "Eat or be Eaten." But only for the title.
Seems to sum up the feelings of Bush and his cronies towards the American working class.

Then again...Listen to side one of David Ossman's "How Time Flys" for the "Years in your ears" sketch....predicts everything that's happened in the last thirty years, like the Irish-Israeli conflict, the Oil Wars, new tourist destinations, like "Namland..."

For History's sake.
