Grandma Arrested For Smuggling Heroin In Her Underwear

A grandmother who tried to smuggle heroin into Australia by packing it in her underwear has been jailed for six years.

Customs officers found four parcels after searching Fawzieh Nona Danial, 58, at Sydney Airport.

She had flown in from Vietnam on March 24 last year with parcels containing 8.43 ounces of heroin.

Danial said she accepted the packages from a Vietnamese woman who offered her $25,000 Australian dollars (�9,900) to take them to Sydney.

The grandmother pleaded guilty to drug trafficking charges and told officers she was sorry "for doing this stupid thing".

2. reminds me of a conversation I heard in the gas station last night

A girl walked in and the cashier said "your grandma in jail, ain't she?" and the girl started laughing and the cashier says, "you got to tell her, 'girl, you to old to be goin' to jail."
