I found the one thing S緌 Paulo has better than Rio de Janeiro:

H-A-M-B-U-R-G-E-R!

This city is chock-full with "independent" burger shops with juicy, tasty, big, non-industrialized hamburgers. Just like the mom-and-pop diners I saw when I went to the US.

Yum yum yum.
