I just stepped on my glasses.
damn, damn, damn. I'm still on the road, going home tomorrow night. I'll have to wear my sunglasses in the dark unless maybe some nice optician will take pity on me so far away from home.
I am such a douchebag!

1. I did that once. Missed 2 days of work.
Got disciplined. I never put my glasses on the floor again.

2. mine were on my lap. I stood up. you know the rest.
this has been a really annoying week, nothing seems to go right. I wanna go home! But only if the maple tree hasn't fallen on the house. Ice storm damage. Bleh!

it really cut down the glare of oncoming traffic, and I could still very easily see the lines and brake lights in front

6. I hope you're right!
But I think I will try to locate an optician in a mall somewhere. They are usually very happy to assist with straightening glasses (and putting lens back in!).

8. I hope you don't sue me if I'm wrong
but really, I've had to wear sunglasses in the past while driving at night because the oncoming headlights were giving me terrific headaches
