I think I need "How to be Interesting" lessons!

my posts are all falling like meteors over the ocean. Nobody cares, except maybe a dolphin or two.

What suggestions would you make for anyone wanting to make a post that gets responses?

If this one sinks, I'm going with it. The cement shoes are in the closet!

a lot of people read posts and don't respond. And then keep on posting on all different topics. Not all my posts get response, but I console myself by remembering that people do read them and that my next post might get a lot of responses.

but then again, I just decided a while ago that if I get a response great, if not, no stress. I'll add to others posts and if someone wants to add to something I start, fine, then I have made some headway.
The way I figure it, there are a lot of different personalities here, from very strong to weak, from radical to mainstream, and well, frankly it's what I enjoy about it.

Just kidding, sorta.

I posted lots of responses to people before braving a topic post, and I was happy to get the responses I did. I still post way more responses than I do topics. On various places on the net, I have found that the more people recognize you as someone who participates in their posts, the more they'll respond to yours.

Then post some poll results. It doesn't matter what the subject of the poll is, you can adjust that. It's editorial license.

Don't forget to include a photo of at least one candidate in lingerie.

Finish your post off with a neat summary - "and that's why (insert candidate here) can't win!"
