Computer question: Sound input
I can plug my iPod shuffle into the front sound input, but iTunes won't let me go through them, because I recorded my iPod lineup on my old computer before it died.

But I don't want to lose all the songs I have on it, so is there a way, going through the sound input to re-record my tunes to the new hard drive on the new computer? I can live with just listening to all the tunes, because I was very selective when I recorded it, but it would be nice to come up with alternate playlists, too.
