I got a new PC at work today.
More memory, cool flat screen monitor. I was happy.

That's it. That's all I wanted to say.

1. Does the cpu have a kind of a retro look
I got a new computer at work, at Optiplex something or other. In fact, I'm staying late at work right now because it's so much faster than my computer at home.

I've tried WindowBlinds, but removed it because it is a resource hog...and I built me a new PC with WinXPSp2 AMD 64x2 4800+ with 2g ram.

How does Winstep do? Does it slow everything down?

21. No slow down I'm aware off.
I just can't customize it like I want to, but that's it. When I get tired of it, I get rid of it. :hi:

6. And....
I'll get my old pc. They're supposed to erase the hard drive and everything. I was able to buy it for $25. I have a perfectly good home pc, but what the hell? Why not? :-)

I don't know what's wrong with it, but my computer-savvy DU lurker friend (who you've met) says it'd liekly work okay with a new hard drive.

It's yours if you want it. Trying to figure out how to get rid of it.
