1. Yes real sloooow
all day. Yesterday it was ok. Been having trouble with the router. I have Time Warner, upstate NY. I don't know if it's the weather (getting icey), a lot of people on today or my router.

I can't afford DSL, so I just deal with the slow loading pages. But luckily, I have TS1 at my office, so whatever i can't load here, I just download at work.

3. I'm gonna run a virus check
cause with cable internet service it's suppose to be click and go...none of this *yawning and napping* in between...it's driving me nuts!!:crazy:

may not show up in virus check

If you have high speed you should get one of those free fire wall programs

8. did a thorough virus check
and rebooted and it seems to be picking up speed :bounce:

I did uninstall a few toolbars that --are these the spyware?

what exactly is spyware? Seriously, I know I have dealt with it but what is it and what does it do?

7. spybot and adaware... cable costs $78 per month if you use comcast
And that's assuming you're already a customer, add on another $12 if you're not a customer.
