1. Anyone see the Jim Carville LSU bit?
I only saw it, didn't hear it, but it was interesting to see a dem doing football commentary :)

2. I saw it
he was campaigning for a playoff system in college football: "we have Division I Colleges that can find a cure for the flu but can't figure out how to crown a national championship". Or something like that. Plus the word "damn" was squeezed in somewhere.

11. OU's quaterback showed himself to be way over rated
He sucks, he missed wide open guys all night and crumbled under pressure. What a joke, this loser even missed a hand off.

13. White was hurt
He hurt his hand in the Kansas State game and it was patently obvious that it was bothering him. Every ball fluttered, he couldn't grip it. He got his knee dinged up again tonight, too.

That said, LSU clearly deserved to win and they deserve the national title, as does Southern California. They should split and probably will.

They should split and probably will.

...but it's clear as day that they were vastly superior to either team out there tonight. The Trojans are simply in another league. If there had been a playoff game, it would have been USC in a blowout of mammoth proportions...something like 48-7.
