Should there be a Swingers Lounge here at DU?

I know that overt discussion about sex in the Lounge has been prohibited by the moderators. However, perhaps a forum can be created where DUers can share pics and make meet-up plans.

esp if you mean "swingers" in "the lifestyle" sense. While we do engage in plenty of silliness here in the Lounge, that simply isn't the point of DU. It's a political board, we are here because we are political junkies.

If there is someone you admire, you are always free to send that person private DU mail, and if it works out, perhaps initiate an off-DU correspondence.

16. No, that seems a bit much

People can get to know each other here if they want without all that and if they want to take something further, they can do so privately. It's one thing to occasionally talk about sex as adults. It's another to have some type of "swingers board". The lounge gets personal, but not to that extreme and it doesn't seem appropriate for this site considering the seriousness of the work that many people do here.

But maybe perhaps you could take the idea and start your own website for it. I suppose it could work.
