So I've reviewed some resumes this past week - what's up with look and feel?
First, they looked as if they'd been run off Access or some other program, rather than like a professional resume. In the online version, you could see all the lines. And, the peoples' names were in HUGE letters (in super-bolded font) off to the side. It appeared that they were run as reports from tables of information - you know, how you run a report, but you only have three choices of fonts, none attractive? Because no one could possibly have chosen these fonts for looks or clarity.

These did not look like typical resumes that I've ever seen. I'll leave aside that the people seem to be able to do everything from fly planes to speaking Japanese but don't address the jobs skills we have listed, but the resumes aren't attractive and aren't easy to read. They are also full of strange, non-relevant information.

Is this the trend?
