Had my first Horseback riding competition this weekend
I know, I know, bad time to post this :hide:

But I'm proud, I got third place in my group during the second show of the day. :D

Once my mom gets the pictures she took developed, I'll post pictures of me looking like a cowgirl ^^;

7. Hee
One of my kids tried 4H and wanted to do western riding so we threw a saddle on one of our old ranch horses for the first lesson. Now I am talking about a horse that has worked cattle and run around in the rocks all its life and a work saddle all beat to hell. Poor kid looked so out of place with all the prancy city horses and shiny tack, add to it the old mare kept swishing her tail everytime he asked her to do anything in the arena and we didn't exactly have a winning look.:rofl:
