I am addicted to my label maker.
There. I said it.

I've organized and labeled everything in the pantry, the laundry room, the downstairs bathroom, the kitchen, the front porch, the entry way closet, the office and the basement. There wasn't much left. Then I noticed my husband's workbench.
I separated every nail and screw according to size. I then went and purchased small plastic boxes and labeled each box. I separated all the plumbing supplies and pipe fittings..all in their own little plastic container.
Bolts, washers, knobs, hinges, hooks, wall anchors, lag bolts, wire caps, glazing points, wood shims, cup hooks, saw tooth hangers...all in tidy little containers, labeled appropriately and stacked neatly. I completely used two label maker cartridges.

Yikes...I need some help.

4. Just do what I did..
Get a label maker that is easy and fun to use, and go nuts! I got mine for Christmas and it's like this cool toy. I can change the font and the color, even the layout of the print.
My husband makes fun of me because just about everywhere you look you see stuff with little labels on it.
I tried organizing my house for YEARS and never got anywhere until I got this little puppy.

6. My husband bought it at Circuit City...
but Lowe's might have them too. Mine is a Brother's PTouch, and it's very easy to use. (I just love watching it spit out those little labels!)
