When was the last time you used a typewriter?

I just did. I use one about once a year when filling out a tax form.

I also broke my watchband in the process of the whole task. It was like I went back in time or something.

I have in the past and loved it. Once you fill in all the crapola, it computes everything and voila.

10. Yesterday

We have one at work for the odd mailing label. Strange how much more careful one becomes on teh keyboard.

An old office manager wanted to toss it. Luckily, I prevailed. It's come in good use. She also wanted to trash three dictionaries: French-English, Spanish-English & German-English. I gave them a home at home.

11. I type out everything I post on DU with a typewriter...

Then I scan it into my PC with a scanner equipped with OCR technology.

Cut and paste it into the appropriate field in the post fields.

Do a final DU spell check on it... and post!

Easy as pie.

What? :shrug: I get paid by the hour, man.
