Edited on Thu Feb-01-07 10:37 PM by smtpgirl
cut out album from 1974

That made way for my punk likes. I think Sex Pistols rocked
With Pretty Vacant, Liar & Problems being my favorite songs

6. After watching for a bit...
...I'm not so sure if Buster is young here, or just dressing young and sporting long hair. Does anybody know when this was taped?

10. They've just regrouped and put out a new CD....
I saw them on one of the late-night talk shows. David looked old, but, he is! He certainly is in shape.

I loved them in the early '70's. The Stooges, T-Rex, The New York Dolls....:woohoo:

18. Well...
My kids were born in the '90s, so I've realized that it is ancient history to them. I make a point of playing music and showing videos of each decade of the 20th Century.

Although, I must admit, they haven't seen much mainstream, top-40 stuff. They wouldn't know The Carpenters. :P

This could be a fun thing for you to share with your nephew (and I'll bet he'd appreciate the attention). :hi:

13. Unfortunately, there's only two original members left alive
But they have done a reasonable job of replicating the good ol' Dolls sound.

the did a tour of the UK in Dec 06. It was great to see them doing the rounds of daytime TV and talk shows and still performing with wild abandon.

One of my all time faves of the Dolls: Personality Crisis

and you must watch this video, "Dance Like A Monkey", the funniest music vid.
