Dar Williams dedicated a song to Molly Ivins
tonight at her concert. It was the Pagans and the Christians. A fine song for a fine lady.

1. Wow, it's like Ted Nugent dedicating "Cat Scratch Fever" to Rush Limbaugh.
In the sense that each song is the respective singer's biggest hit, of course. Why, what did you think I meant? :)

5. You would have liked the way the crowd screamed and clapped in agreement
when she mentioned that she was dedicating her next song to Molly Ivins. She didn't even explain who Molly Ivins was. We all knew. Funny thing was, I was going to call out to ask her to dedicate a song to Molly but just before I did, she did.

6. She is awesome live
I first saw her open for Ani Defranco with about 30 people. I missed her in Dublin Ireland last March I was a block from where she was playing in a pub and didn't know it! The next day I missed Patti Griffin. Doh!
