Holding me in their arms for hours and just being there for me.

My mom holding my hand while she was in the hospital - makes me cry just thinking about it. Ohmygoodness ... I feel so blessed to have such good people in my life.

4. The one that usually sticks out to me, was
when my mother gave my wife and I 4k, so we could get into our current home...we were just a bit short of getting in the house, and good old mom hepled us out...and when we tried paying her back, she told us our money was no good to her....:D

5. I've been on the receiving end of a lot of really, really nice gestures
lately.

I feel really, really blessed, and as corny as this is going to sound, loved. Not so much things people have done as just expressed support and friendship.

6. Gave me one of those Gnomes
that appear to travel all over the world. On second thought, were they trying to tell me to get the hell out of here??????

Nah, it was a nice, out of the blue, gesture.

7. my husband, when i was a kid my favorite book was James and the giant peach
Edited on Fri Feb-02-07 05:13 PM by chimpsrsmarter
i had a copy but i thought i had lost it, turns out it was at my Nana's house, my husband called around to friends and relatives and Nana thought it "Might be in the cellar dear". Well My Nana's cellar was huge and packed with stuff and he ending up spending an entire weekend looking through boxes, he found the book and gave it to me on the day we got married. I cried my eyes out.
