Anyone l here have or like Directv?
Okay, I'm new to all this. We've had the basic cable and have decided to upgrade and move into the 21st century. Anyone like or hate Directv? I do not know much about it and am going to spend the weekend researching it. If anyone cares to offer some advice, tips, or two cents regarding the subject, that would be great!

I have a DVR and now everything is working great.

My only complaint is that I can't get national channels

2. We have it and are thrilled
Better than average selection of channels. Cost is less than digital cable. We have the DVR on our main TV, and it is nice to be able to "record" shows just like TiVo.

3. One of the shows I'd like to get
is Dan Rathers on HDNET. IS that available? I just discovered their site so I'm going back and fourth. Thnaks for the replies!
