I did try their anti-virus at work, but it absolutely insisted on doing a full system scan, which must've been incredibly thorough because it brought my system to a near crawl.

I'll try it again before I leave for the weekend sometime.

I'm a big fan of Comodo, and say give it a shot

Why would they offer it for free?

like I said, I've been using the firewall kit for months now, with zero problems, and I've contacted the company and they are indeed legit. No, I don't work for them, I just think their stuff is really good.

It's about browsing, it's about mail anyway, the anti-spam thing. If you use firefox, just start adblocking sites and you'll eventually be all set
