1. 8 degrees here in beautiful Miamisburg, Ohio
Boy, I'm glad I'm not where you are. The weather there makes us look like we're having a heat wave.

7. Sure, brag about it now
but us in the Northland will have our revenge!!!! Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!

.... in about six months, I guess.

"Ha! 115 in Texas? It's only 90 here! And with the cold, you can always add more layers, but you can't wear less than nekkid! Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!"

I'll make you a deal. You PM me some of your warm Texan air now, and I'll PM you some of our cool Minnesota air come July.

20. Houston summer weather is around 90, but humid as hell.
Summer is coming really fast, we start to get warm in March.

March and April can still be a little cool, just depends on the weather.

You are right about the layers.

I would love to send you some warm 40 degree weather, that is cold for us.

I really hate the heat, I stay inside as much as possible.

The secret to staying cool outside is shorts, tshirts and a good straw hat.

Ya'll stay warm up there.

I'd rather be 105 and dry than 90 and humid, any day! :-)

13. Yeah...
I remember a couple years ago when it was 3 degrees in the New England area and nobody could handle it. If you can handle winter in Minnesota, there isn't much you can't handle...Except maybe an Atlanta summer, which is way worse than minus 20.

14. Mmmmmm.... greasy sweat
Nuttin' beats it. Connecticut comes close, though. I was out there for the 4th of July holiday after 5 years in the arid Midwest...

Holy shit, was it humid. Trees on the far side of a medium-sized local park were shading to grey from the humidity, and we're talking maybe a hundred yards of air to look through. I spend my entire time there damp and sweaty and greasy.

15. I always describe 95 degrees and 100% humidity
as wrapping a towel dipped in hot water around your head and trying to breathe. I hated the summer in Atlanta...Get out of the shower and feeling like you have to get right back in...No thanks. I'll take the cold.

23. Beautiful, at LAST!
After weeks of psycho weather (one day sunny, the next day snow flurries), we've had two days in a row of sun, and only mildly cold (30s to 40s).

I've been very productive, priming and painting our bedroom, cleaning out the tub, and recording lots of new songs for my IPOD! Sun is crucial for fudge's well being.

24. 12 degrees here with a windchill of
two above zero. That's according to my-cast.com.

This is the first winter in some time that we've had an extended period of cold here in St Louis. I have a scooter and have found myself crabbing about winter. I ride my scooter in thest temps but primarily to work and back and nowhere else.

I miss the scooter riding group and our weekly rides.

Didn't that idiot groundhog say we would have an "early spring?" :sarcasm:

I am hoping that my car starts tomarrow. I wouldn't want to have to walk to or from work in this weather, even though it is only about a mile away.
