I'm listening to some Seventh Day Adventist asswipe bloviating on the radio right now

Giving some kind of asshole sermon.

I don't know why I listen to this shit, but when panning around the radio dial I sometimes come to the Christian station and I find it fascinating in its hate, stupidity, anti-intellectualism, and generally heretical nature.

We really need mainline Christians on the radio and TV and in the news.

This fundy-shitwipe-owned Christian media needs to go.

One of those big buildings with the lower case t on top isn't terribly far from anywhere, should we want to hear what they have to say.

Polite, nuanced discussion of what a being nobody has any proof ever existed wants from us isn't any more useful than more obviously crazy discussion of same. Either one ranks somewhere in between the fine print guy at the end of car commercials and Nickelback's "Rockstar" on the lists of things that make me wish my hearing difficulties were more severe. Oddly enough, I'd rather hear the raving fundies, because at least they're unintentionally funny on occasion.

I'm not familiar with the details fo SDAism.

I don't know, I find it easy enough just to turn on another station when I don't like something I hear. Unless he's advocating genocide, I say let him preach what he wants.

Now he's giving another sermon about the Mark of the Beast which is mostly a long anti-Catholic diatribe. It's hilarious! But also very sad. There is much of the Catholic Church to criticize, but he's hitting nothing of value and also just making some shit up about numerology and other crap.

Yes, kind pastor, the Catholic Church is indeed the anti-Christ because the Pope wears and crown and they worship on Sunday.
