And now I've discovered someone walked in and stole my DVD player, which would be no big deal, but this person also stole my camera. This camera used to be my brother's; he gave it to me for my birthday and it had a lot of sentimental value for him and for me. I call that very unfriendly, and I have no idea how to tell him. I might just look for the same model on eBay and buy it...

2. Thanks Shine. I'm sure the police have better things to do.

Anyone who has to break and enter (well, just enter in this case) to steal two pieces of electronics without any of the things that make them useful (charger, remote for the DVD player, etc.) probably leads an unpleasant enough existence. But I don't know how to tell my brother about this.

I'm so sorry. :( Losing things of sentimental value is way worse than things of financial value. I hope that your brother is understanding. :hug: And, that you feel better soon physically, too.
