Poll question: For U.S. residents: Do you currently live in a red or blue Congressional district?
With the new Congress, it's a good time to do this poll again. Is your district represented by a Democrat or Republican in the U.S. House? I hate to say that I'm still represented by Republican Gerlach, but maybe Lois Murphy will run one more time and the third time will be the charm. She needs a more organized push in Chester and Berks counties.

1. Blue
But the way the district is drawn, if I lived approximately half a mile east, I would be in a red district

2. Boy is my district insanely drawn
It's the 6th district in PA. It goes from Montgomery County all the way up to Lehigh County! Hopefully, it can be re-drawn.

In '04, I went to my district's caucus meeting, and he spoke there. The room went crazy when he came to the stage. :bounce:

BTW, I voted Repuke - boo for Gerlach instead of Repuke - wingnut. But I wouldn't call him moderate either.

We tried so hard last time to knock him out. He got us with the robo-calls. He is voting against all of the new house bills introduced by the Democratic congress. He will pay next time.

It has been said that he has "godlike qualities".

And he majorly sucks up to the Focus people. They totally control the Republican Party here. But the business types are beginning to become a bit restive.

47. I agree.
Tim Murphy's seat was ripe for the taking. He had that employee scandal right before the election, too.

I have Murtha for my rep but only live about a mile from the line for Murphy's district.

Blue, blue, blue. Elected Norm Coleman as mayor - as a Democrat - and then this district kicked his ass in the Senate election.

27. I went with "super wingnut repuke" but he's probably just a "repuke"...(English, PA-3rd)
He carries the water for the Repukes in Congress. There were rumors that he'd run the congressional campaign committee for them but he didn't get it. Oh, my rep. is Phil English (PA-3rd). I call him Fat Phil as he is quite...um...fat... But he doesn't do anything for the area, though he claims to do everything. And the dumb Democratic Party in the area can't find anybody legit to challenge him. I do always get a kick out of his campaign commercials as my area (Erie) has a lot of factories and such and Fat Phil always features himself walking through the factories in his commercials. The only thing is, his hard hat never, ever fits his head. It looks so damn silly!

34. We're represented by a kick-ass Democrat, however--we've got more Republicans
than Democrats around here. I was told recently that my district is actually the 8th most Republican district represented by a Democrat in the country. Nice, eh?
