a) The so-called Black Jesus story. This cheerful fellow was kicked out of a religious school of some sort for theft. Now he has a gang of followers who offer up young girls for human sacrifice and a hot lunch. Clearly, it is time to see if this chap is capable of resurrection.

b) The Bush administration, whose mal behavior defies logical explanation without the introduction of certain assumptions. For example, if they were worshipers of Yog So-thoth and believed they were keeping him confined at the center of the Pentagram, then they might be tempted to do business with this Lovecraftian horror. In that case, their recent actions can be understood as the submission of human sacrifice on a large scale in an attempt to garner the favor of the beast and achieve global domination. In this event, it is clear that confinement of these nut jobs to a rubber lined room and administration of heavy doses of powerful psychotropic drugs is required.
