1. You have a very unusual cat.
I haven't known a cat who will turn down raw meat.

2. I'm trying to transition him into the raw meat diet and he's pissed.
Walking around the house growling and attacking my feet. Jesus, you'd think I took his crackpipe away.

6. Canned salmon, canned ocean fish/tuna, canned flaked chicken...that's IT.
Bet the little bastid would eat caviar, tho.

4. My young cat who's new name is Dammit won't eat raw meat either.
All she will eat is dry catfood.

Cats are strange.

5. Mine won't either...
Edited on Sat Feb-10-07 10:41 PM by Chan790
but that's probably because she has no clue what it is...she's lived thus far on table scraps and I'm a vegetarian. I'm trying to ween her off the table scraps because she's taken to stealing off plates and the vet says that it's not healthy for her to be eating people food.

Edit: she won't eat cat food either. I feel kinda strange going to the food co-op where everybody knows I'm a veggie and buying meat. They look at me funny when I try to tell them the liver is for the cat.

8. I've never tried to give my cat raw meat.
He does, however, eat curling ribbon.

9. My macrobiotic friend told me it took her a few weeks to transition her cats to raw food.
So, I'm hoping he will not pee on my quilt, which he does when ANYTHING changes in the house.
Maybe in a few weeks, he will accept the fact that I will not waste $4.99 to fee his lazy ass.
