Idaho Animal Shelter closing -- please help.

The animal shelter here in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is going to close by the end of the month. All of the dogs will be taken to a temporary shelter, but it's rumored that this temporary home will not last and many dogs will be euthanized.
What's worse, the temporary shelter does not accept cats -- so once again, it is rumored they will all be euthanized at the end of the month if homes are not found.

If you are near this area, or know of a friend who is, and are able to adopt a loving pet -- please help.
