BREAKING NEWS: Marty Schottenheimer's ass is FIRED
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2763552

I knew it was bound to happen sooner or later. San Diego goes back to the pit of Hell where Raiders share their cursed life.

Broncos will dominate for the next oh, 20 years of AFC West.

1. Bring him back home to Cleveland
All is forgiven! The Browns haven't had a coach worth a damn since Marty was shown the door years ago.

2. Oh and the San Diego Charger's doesn't even have a REAL coach
Cam Cameron? Gone to Miami
Wade Phillips? Gone to Dallas
Rob Chudzinski? Gone to Cleveland
Greg Manusky? Gone to SF.

The only coach that's still there is LT's favorite coach, Clarence Shelmon, and he's only has one year contract.

3. Do you think that Jerry Jones
is banging his head against a wall somewhere mumbling "I can't believe I hired Wade Phillips" over and over again? :banghead:

4. LOL
Marty in the playoffs as a coach was like Manning in the playoffs as a QB. I thought he did a good job coaching this year. He had his assistant call plays, and went away from "Marty Ball". I imagine Jerry Jones is banging his head.

7. I wonder how many GMs are re-evaluating their coaching hires now?
I wonder what the buyout clause is for a coach who never makes it to pre-season.

9. Phillips can't coach either
I've seen him trying to coach Elway and the Broncos, and he was just ... bad.

He's a Raiders fan, hates Schottenheimer.

8. Norv Turner and Kevin Gilbride are still available.

Heck, I'll start the petition to let the Chargers have Wade Phillips back, and we'll take Marty. Just call it a do-over.
