Are you over the stomach flu? My daughter got it over the weekend, out of the blue. She vomited all over herself and the back of my hubby's BMW. Ugh, what a mess! Definitely not pretty. Poor little pumpkin! She had a lowgrade fever on Sunday, but was fine by the end of the day. Weird, how quickly it came and went.

Hopefully, yours passed just as quickly. :hug:

I am still a little fatigued from it, but it was two days of sheer hell.

I am concerned about merh because there were tornadoes in Louisiana this morning.

She is okay. The storm woke up her dogs and raised a clatter. But she is okay.

19. Th storms were mad-crazy here today.
I live about a mile from merh, as the crow flies. Our county was under a tornado watch. It was about 2 hours of lightning stikes with simultaneous thunder claps, about 5:30-7:30 this morning. The thunder shook my house. I can't even imagine what it must have been like in a trailer.

I guess some nasty storms ripped through Louisiana this morning. I wanted to make sure she was okay.

9. As have we all. Her before-and-after pictures were heartbreaking, because she had
that nice little house that just looked like HOME. Not a McMansion, nothing that SOME people would maybe think of as "special," but when I saw the pictures, I thought "That's home, right there."

Her loss touched me.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry any one.

It was a bumpy morning, but I survived it - up too early when the t-storms rolled through and the lightning popping and the down pours. But fortunately for me, no tornadoes were near me and it was just a loud, wet mess.

The worst part of it all was I missed a few hours of my much needed beauty rest and my dogs wouldn't go out to pee until the rain stopped.

Thanks KW for posting this thread and for caring so much. :hug:
