It'll be very confusing if you don't start from the beginning. I started with episode 1 season 1 instead of the miniseries and I was lost until I went back and watched from the beginning.

It's a great show. I'm 100% Kara's bitch.

I'll stick it on my Netflix queue. I did catch a portion of an episode the other night -- the one with Bruce Davison (who I once met briefly :D).

I loved the set design and was actually surprised to see the handheld camera techniques used -- you usually don't see that on sci-fi shows.

Unbelievable show. Best show on TV--no question. Yeah, I snickered when I heard they were "remaking" the series, but ye gods, it's about as similar to the original series as apples are to Studebakers. Love the way they couch topical themes within the sci-fi mythology, just like the good ol' Star Treks used to.

I think the show says a lot about us as people and americans, by putting white anglo-saxon people in situations that may be somewhat similar to what we are putting Iraqis and Afganis through, for example, the camp when the cylons found them on New Caprica.

What I am trying to say is there is more to the show than Sci-Fi entertainment.
