Well, I thought it was hysterically funny...
I take my sister to lunch once a week, and she likes to bring her Lab, Lady, along for the ride. While we dine, Lady sits in the back of my mean machine and barks at all the passersby in the parking lot.

Today I had a little running around to do first, so it being a cold and windy day I naturally headed to Starbucks for a venti triple mocha (the next best thing to a needle of caffeine straight to the heart).

I had only finished half of it when I picked my sister up, but I didn't think anything of just leaving it in the cup holder. Big mistake. When we came back out after lunch we discovered that Lady had somehow removed the lid from the cup of coffee and drank it all down without spilling a single drop!

I gotta say, an 80 lb. dog high on caffeine is an interesting sight, to say the least. Her eyes were already dilated, and she wouldn't (couldn't?) stay still on the ride home.

This was a little after noon.

At seven p.m. my sister called me to let me know Lady had FINALLY stopped walking on the ceiling and was calming down at last.

After stealing my vital drugs I say that puppy and her mistress both got what they deserved.
