2. I love Limas! In fact...
Some days I'll just heat up a can, throw in a pat of butter and some Mrs. Dash and dig in. My grandmother used to simmer lima beans with chunks of ham and some shredded carrot and make a kind of soup out of it. It was delicious. Yummy yummy!

10. Have you tried baby lima beans?
Those are the only ones I'll eat and they are about as dry as a potato. Plus, you can put butter on them if you want. :hi:

8. Fresh lima beans with a dash of tabasco sauce and salt and pepper are yummy!
This Southern girl grew up eating lima beans! Good eating!

Try the fresh or frozen kind and serve them with home made corn bread.. The canned ones are not as good. :)

14. I love lima beans, but everyone in my family hates them.
When I lived by myself I'd put them in a crock pot, throw in a slice of bacon and whatever veggies I had around, and poor it all over rice when it was done.

Of course I was a freak too. I'd trade stuff for nasty government surplus milk powder and ferment it into yougurt or buttermilk on top of the water heater. That always grossed out whoever I happened to be living with.

15. I like and eat them.
This Spring, I'm considering renting a plot in a local community garden. Lima beans is one of the things I'd like to try growing. So beware.
