Or what's the deal. I wanna bring mine. But I don't wanna check it. For some reason I'm thinking they are being all testy about laptops on airplanes now.

3. They'll make you take it out of the bag and run it by itself on the xray machine
other than that, it's just a minor hassle. They made me turn on my Palm Pilot once.

Oh, and if they ask you to take your shoes off, it's NOT optional. One guy behind me in line misunderstood that it was not a suggestion, and ended up getting practically strip-searched.

I resent all that shite in the extreme, but it's that or walk to my parents' house. :(

....until the terra-ists leak some Rube Goldberg scheme to bring down an airliner with a laptop computer, toothpaste, Gatorade, and coffee grounds. Every time our government flinches at this crap, the terrorists win.

5. No, even though it's the year 2007 you'll still need some sort of aircraft.

I kid, I kid! :hide:

Yes, you can carryon a laptop. They make you take it
out of any carrying case, start it up (not always),
and it has to go through the Xray machine.
