I don't fly, and I don't check the bus schedules anymore

I live in the middle of a dirt patch in the middle of nowhere that almost no one wants to be a part of unless they are a suckered Californian looking for a patch of dirt that costs next to nothing.

I am now so withdrawn and introspective that I have little understanding what others are complaining about. So many threads seem as though they were written by an OCD schizophrenic wannabee.

Who else absolutely loves the simple, peaceful life? Not intruded upon constantly by others who are pissed about this or that; the peaceful life that consists of what I think and what I do and what I believe?

I don't fly other than in my dreams.

And I have never seen any of the tv shows that most are likely to say they have seen.

Not saying I'm "better", just different.

I'm so far up north that most people don't want to come here excpet for the cool summers, the leaves in the fall, and Lake Superior. I've lived in big cities, and will probably never go back. I have always been and always will be a Duluthian.
