I was wondering earlier today.........
Is the way you have your computer set up a reflection of you?

Is your life neat and organized, and your computer as well?

Or are you the kind who runs around like a crazy person, with a computer to match?

OK, my dear friends!

Tell me! :bounce: :bounce:

1. Hmmm
My computer files are meticulously organized. My house is a disaster area. Maybe I spend too much time at the computer and don't get off my butt enough to work on the house.

So... no parallel in my neatness here, more like opposite tendencies.

2. My dear Catshrink..........
Opposite tendencies!

Well, I can sure see how that is.......

I'm not that way, though......my computer and my life are kind of messy, but I know where everything is........

I think!

Thanks!

3. I think "relaxed" describes my work area...
..."sloppy"--but not dirty--if you're being impolite..."informal" if you're being nice...

How nice to see you today.......

Well, informal works for me!

And how does your inner computer organization compare with your workspace organization?

12. Thanks for the kind words...
...they mean a lot today...compared to my computer per se, my work space is like the Oval Office...my poor old iMac, it comes and goes, as they say...maybe someday I'll get a sparkling new PC, and I'll really go places...

6. My dear graywarrior!
What a very cool pic!

And I do believe I see my thread up on your computer screen!

But actually, what I meant by organized was......

How you have your files set up in the computer vs. the way your home life is!

Your home looks fantastic, BTW!

Thought I would try posting something less controversial, ya know?

Nice to see you today, sweetie!

My house is a viper pit. And we are moving to a spacious 2 bedroom in April, so you WILL be visiting.

8. I like mine stripped down
I don't like anything on here that I don't need. If I find something I delete it. I'm at the point where there is stuff on here that I would like to get rid of but I can't (alot of remnants from games because it used to belong to my dad who did computer games all the time) and I would have to go into the registry to get rid of it and I'm afraid to go that far because knowing me I will screw it up.

Oh I hear you about messing things up!

I'm paranoid the same way......

Sometimes I call my brother (the computer whiz) and have him talk me through the steps I need to take!

I think he's gotten so that when I call him, he thinks it's about the computer......

Poor baby.......

Now you're talking about what I was talking about too......

I know people like you........

Both their lives and their computers are just like this..........

It makes sense to them.....but nobody else!

You might want to leave instructions for when you kick off......so that your survivors can find their way around in your computer!

28. I'm not sure even instructions would help
And besides, I'm paranoid - my wife has instructions to save certain files and DoD wipe the rest of my computer upon my untimely demise. Once can never be too careful.

I guess you could say I am tied to my computer even in death :)

40. My computer is very organized and
My office at work is very organized. My house, on the other hand, is usually a disater area except for my kitchen, which is usually pretty neat. I have ADD and my work area HAS to be super organized or I'd get sidetracked too easily. At home, both my inner and outer (dropkid) children come out and I have a hard time getting motivated to get it really neat when it just returns to the exact same state less than 24 hours later. But I do know where everything is!!
