Have you ever had a pinched nerve in your neck?

I woke the other day and I swear I thought I was gonna die from the pain. I went to the doctor and he did x-rays, which showed a pinched nerve. I went to a chiropractor a couple times after that to ease the pressure and it helped some, but the pain continues to be relentless.

Funny how you hear about people having these things, but until it happens to you, you can't identify. Well, I can definitely identify now. Anybody have any home remedies besides ibuprofen and ice for the pain. It would be greatly appreciated. Just sitting here at the computer is brutal this morning. I've been up half the night because it's so uncomfortable to sleep. Standing is a little better.

I'm just about ready to stick velcro on the wall and attach myself so I can sleep--anything for relief. x(

I have a bulging disk in my neck, which frequently leads to a pinched nerve. It's very painful and distracting. After trying different muscle relaxers and pain pills, I found that what helped the most was an anti-inflammatory prescription drug. Call your doctor and ask.
