I tuned in to "Scarborough" last night

to see Kevin Phillips... HOLY SHIT,.. I,ve never seen a "news" show host that was such an egg-sucking twit. I can't F$$KING believe that such a production could be economically viable. Is some rich repuke secretly subsidising this kind of circus side show?.... What's up America?

I've never seen such an utter waste of time. Someone actually voted for that imbecile for Congress?

At least, I'll save my money on Phillips' book. So, I guess it wasn't a total loss.

4. Just about nothing

It went on and on about different subjects...including the theory that Prince Charles had Diana killed. A few moments of some talking head saying something empty, followed by Scarborough smirking and saying something equally empty.

BTW, the central premise of Phillips' book seems to be that all political dynasties are bad. Including Hillary running and multiple Kennedy's. What a total loss. Save your money on his book.

5. Scarborough's been on my list

of exclusions for quite some time now. About the only thing I can stand anymore is Hardball with Chris Matthews. I don't always agree with Tweety, but he has a better record of hammering away at people (even the likes of Coulter who I'm thankful has been replaced by the lesser but still detestable Laura Ingram).

I can't believe they canceled Buchanan & Press. Wait...yes I can. They probably went on the chopping block the day Pat started bashing Bush--and kept doing it.

Just because KP didn't get a lot of airtime on Scarborugh last night (didn't see it; I don't have cable), doesn't mean the book is no good or not worth your time.

I do intend to buy his book. Kevin Phillips is not a crackpot neocon like Wolfowitz or Perle. Like David Gergen, Phillips is a plain, old-fashioned SANE conservative.

Here's a GD discussion about his appearance on C-SPAN yesterday morning. They're lobbying for a repeat.
