I was not posting the Bazooka Joe joke as some backhanded attempt to harass ANYONE. I had no idea on DU who has ADD, how could i? I didn't find out why you were upset until much later last night after LP told me.

You need to stop interpreting everything as an attack on you. I dont think anyone on here is really the enemy. Does anyone remember Bush?

17. I have a bazooka Joe story.
I was such an ass in school! Once i put a whole bunch of Bazooka in my mouth in class. I blew a huge bubble right there in home room. My teacher asked me to spit it out. I flatly told him "gimmie .75 for the gum i paid for, otherwise no get bent".

God i was such a prick. :blush:

But my attitude is why i never made it past 9th grade. I had massive problems then. I was class clown on overdrive. I would do shit like stick my head in class, and inform the teacher i was skipping their class that day. I told my Jr high principle to go easy on the turtle wax (bald), and i left him i said "if i don't see ya again before it rains, piss on ya".

I was a mean nasty booger.

19. Sadly, one of the only jokes I've ever remembered came from Bazooka Joe
This was back in the 1960's so I'm just giving the basic story, it's not verbatim or anything:

Some character was on their hands and knees, looking for something in the grass. Joe comes along and asks them what is going on. The searcher says something to the effect of "I dropped a quarter over by the bank."

Joe asks, "Then why are you looking for it here, in front of the library?"

Searcher replies, "Because the light is better over here."
