The longest I've had someone on "ignore" is one week, and that was recently. Usually, it's about ten minutes!

61. Easiest way for you to see what it means is to
click on the icon on my post (bring it up in a new tab or window) ... the options will be detailed. Then just close the window or tab without slecting "submit" (unless you really want to ignore me)

I don't have enemies, agendas, stalkers, or what-have-you here at DU. Some posters I enjoy reading more than others, but no one stands out as ignore-worthy just because their opinions may not coincide with mine. When it's a personal attack, though, it's different. Not long ago someone was an ass to me for no discernible reason, and I very much wasn't in the mood for crap that day. Decided that if that was the first impression they made on me, I wasn't interested in a second.
