Anybody have the "Watch Now" feature on Netflix?

It allows you to stream some movies online. Netflix is rolling it out to its customers in phases.

I just got it yesterday, but I can't get it to work. I upgraded to Windows Media Player 11 as they suggested, but I still get an error message.

Do you have it, have you tried it, and how do you like it? How's the picture quality?

1. I use it a lot.

It has some great older movies and Masterpiece Theatre.

I took me a while to configure the player, though.

I had to download Windows Media Player, download all of the updates for it, restart my computer a few times, and then try again.

Send a message to Netflix customer support, if that doesn't work.

2. It looks like they have some great classic movies

and some stuff my kids would like. Plus Uncovered, the War in Iraq from my Queue.

I think it's cool that they're giving us something extra - for free. Hope I can get it to work.

I've seen Blockbuster's ads offering the same sort of "keep the dvd's for as long as you want" deal as Netflix, except you don't have to wait for them to arrive in the mail, like Netflix. So, the "Watch Now" feature is a way of staying ahead of Blockbuster.

4. This, of course, is only good if you don't mind the limited selection of the Blockbuster stores.

Most of the stuff I rent would NEVER be carried at ANY local Blockbuster, so their "return it to the store" thing is pointless for me.

6. I doubt that my local Blockbuster even participates in that.

When BBuster advertised the "end of late fees" a year or two ago, my local store kept on charging 'em.
