I just made four meals from leftovers! My weekend is free!!
I'm just soooo proud of myself! lmao!

I used up all the leftovers and now we eat again!

I won't have to cook again or go shopping until Monday! :woohoo:

The oven was used for two of the meals and now
it's nice and hot to make a cake and some cookies
and some datenut bread and corn muffins!

No reheating it!

So, I'm also saving energy!

I'm just so proud!

1. Mission accomplised!
Now I'm starving!

The house smells great!

Let's see what's on the menu... from my 5 days ago, $35.00 groceries!

I made extra spaghetti sauce the other night and used it with some twisty pasta & homemade garlic bread.
I made enchilada's with sauce & cheese topping.
I made Shepard's pie with left over turkey & gravy and vegetables, topped with mashed potatoes.
I have half a pot roast with onions, in the crock pot now, on low.
I had extra spaghetti sauce leftover for pizza dough which is now defrosting.
I made fresh baked corn muffins and also a loaf of datenut bread for breakfast
and a cake and some M&M cookies!

My work is done!!

It's almost happy hour too!

2. How many are there in your family. I have just recently retired, and because of my limited income,
I'm trying to keep my food budget to $100 a month. There is just me to feed on that $100. Sounds like you're doing really good.

3. There are two of us.
My teenage son, the youngest of three sons and myself.
He eats like it's going out of style!
I've learned to budget and stretch the food budget over the years.
Like the turkey breast. It was a full meal; then sandwiches and now a pot pie!
I bought a fairly large pot roast too, on sale.
The butcher at the grocery store ground up half of it into hamburger for me. ;)
I used the burger for burrito's the other night and added the rest to the spagehetti sauce.
And now we'll have pot roast for Sunday dinner and a pizza tomorrow afternoon!
If we fall short, which I doubt, I have canned white tuna and clam chowder and chicken soup on hand ;)
